Dahanu Bordi Beach is located in Dahanu taluka of Palghar district. It is spread over a distance of 17 km.
Not only for its extensive and tidy beach, Dahanu is also known for its vast chikoo fuit orchids. Although,
it is quite warm during summer, the gentle breeze cools down the entire beach. Mecca of the
Zoroastrians is a place, which is very popular amongst tourists as there is a magnificent temple, which
houses the sacred fire of the Zoroastrians. It is believed that this fire has been kept alive for almost a
thousand years. The existence of Iranian and Persian culture further makes this place more exotic.

Relway
Dahanu Bordi Beach is at a distance of 8 km from Dahanu Railway Station. It takes 10 minutes by rickshaw to reach there. Also you can go to Golvad Railway Station Varun on Bordi Beach. Golwad is at a distance of 3 km from the railway station and can be reached from there. There are trains from Dahanu from Mumbai and Virar.

Bordi is 155 km from Mumbai. It is 2.5 to 3 hours by road. Mumbai- You can go by Ahmedabad Hayave and Charoti Road. The distance from Charoti to Dahanu Beach is 52 km and it is 1,1.5 hours by road.
