Kamandurg
Kamandurg is situated n Vasai taluka of Palghar district. People residing in Belkadi belong to Adivasi
community – Varli and are very helpful. One has to cross 4 water streams and the 3 rd stream is 40feet
wide. There are 5 water cisterns on the plateau and a stone with image of an idol carved on it. The
entire region is covered with thick forest and looks green. A beautiful view of Vasai creak can be seen.
There are 2 peaks and one has to descend and make a traverse and then climb from the other side to
reach on the second peak.

Relway
Vasai station is the nearest station to reach Kamadurg fort. Kamandurg fort is at a distance of 35 km from Vasai station. The journey takes 1 to 1.9 hours. You can reach Vasai station by rickshaw or bus. You have to go by bus or rickshaw and get off at this stop somewhere. Next to it is the fort. Trains run from Virar, Mumbai and Dahanu to reach Vasai station.

To reach Kamadurg fort, take Vasai Dahisar road from Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway, you can take a rickshaw, go to Kuhe stop and you can reach Kamandurg fort. It is at a distance of 28 km from Dahisar. And there is a 55 minute walk.
