Kelwa beach – sometimes also known as Kelwe or Kelva beach is a pristine stretch of sea shore and a
popular weekend getaway for tourists from Mumbai. The beach is about 8 kilometers long. Although not
a very famous tourist attraction, the beach is overcrowded with local tourists during weekends which
indicate its growing popularity.

Relway
The distance from Kelve Beach to Kelve Road Stein is about 7 km. After getting off the train, you can catch a rickshaw and travel further. And the rickshaw is 10 minutes away.

There are several MSRTC buses available from Mumbai and Thane to Kelwa Beach which frequently travel from Palghar or Safale and Kelwa Road to the station. The distance from Palghar to Kelwa Beach is about 12 to 13 km. It only takes 10.15 minutes to get there. Kelva Beach is 104 km from Mumbai. It takes 2 hours to get there.
